At the start of the LinkWaveAI project, my team and I received quite broad requirements from the client. We decided to use a Design thinking approach to tackle this challenge, holding multiple discussions and conducting mainly desk research due to limited resources and the niche construction sector.
After thorough research and multiple validations with the client, we defined the core problem and proceeded with ideation, sketching, prototyping, and finally handed off the design to the development team. We also supported the DEV team with testing and fine-tuning the product.
This project deepened my appreciation for clear communication with clients and teammates, especially when requirements were initially vague. Moreover, I learned the importance of thorough research and validation to ensure alignment between user needs and technical feasibility.
It also reinforced the value of Design thinking—not just as a framework I already knew, but as a practical tool to tackle complex, unfamiliar domains.
